Driver Education

DRIVER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
Certified by the New York State Department of Education and The Department of Motor Vehicles to issue
THE BLUE CARD FORM (MV 285).

ELIGIBILITY
High school students from all New York schools are eligible to enroll when they attain age 16.

  1. Summer Course, age 16 by July 1
  2. Fall Course, age 16 by Sept. 15
  3. Spring Course, age 16 by Feb. 2

Successful completion of the Windsor School Program will qualify the student for a full driver's license (Class D) at age 17 after passing the New York State Motor Vehicle Bureau Road Test.

The MV 285 BLUE CARD issued after successful completion of the Windsor School Program could mean up to a 15% discount from many insurance companies.

A LEARNER'S PERMIT IS NOT REQUIRED TO ENROLL IN THIS COURSE.

You will receive a receipt by return mail together with instructions concerning your scheduling and programming.
